Laptop use and return agreement

At Maestro, our goal is to give you the tools you need to succeed. Your Maestro Pro Scholarship includes a laptop to support your learning journey — helping you stay focused, connected, and moving forward toward your goals. For full details, see the Maestro Pro Scholarship.

When you successfully complete your program, you'll get to keep the laptop as your own.

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that:

• The laptop is Maestro's property, provided to you for academic use only for as long as you continue to meet the laptop eligibility requirements.

• You are responsible for keeping it in good condition.

• If your enrollment or scholarship ends before you complete your program, or you no longer meet the eligibility requirements for the laptop scholarship, the laptop will need to be returned.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Part of your scholarship

This laptop comes to you as a benefit of your Maestro Pro Scholarship, alongside full tuition coverage. It represents our commitment to your success.

Access to the laptop depends on remaining actively enrolled and meeting your scholarship requirements — including satisfactory academic progress (SAP) and staying in active learning, which means completing all required academic activities every week — as outlined in the Maestro Pro Scholarship Policy. These conditions apply throughout your studies until graduation.
To learn how to maintain your scholarship status, see the How to keep your Maestro Pro Scholarship active guide.
Students who transfer to a different cohort after becoming eligible for a laptop will need to successfully complete one additional course in the new cohort before regaining eligibility, in addition to continuing to meet all other eligibility requirements.

2. Use during your studies

The laptop remains Maestro's property and is for your academic use throughout your time at Maestro.

It is intended to support your coursework and participation in the program and should not be used in a way that conflicts with Maestro's policies.

3. Delivery

• Signing this agreement begins the shipping process.

• Delivery timelines depend on inventory availability, suppliers, and shipping carriers, and a specific delivery date cannot be guaranteed.

• You'll receive tracking information via email directly from the shipping carrier.
Maestro provides shipping within the United States only. Any costs related to shipping outside the United States, including return shipping, are the student's responsibility.
4. Care and responsibility

Your laptop is yours to care for.

It comes with Apple's one-year limited warranty for manufacturer defects and is managed using a device management system for security and technical support.
• Damage, loss, or theft outside of that warranty are your responsibility.
• Maestro cannot provide replacements or temporary devices.
5. If you withdraw or are no longer eligible

This laptop is part of your Maestro Pro Scholarship and is provided to support your learning during the program. If your enrollment ends, or you no longer meet the laptop eligibility requirements, before completing the program, the laptop must be returned.

• Maestro will provide instructions and a prepaid return label or pickup option.

• You will need to return the laptop within 5 days of receiving the return label.

• The laptop must be returned in good condition, with all accessories.

If the laptop is not returned as required, we reserve the right to remotely lock the device using the device management system. In addition, if the device is not recovered, you may be required to cover the cost of the laptop. This helps us provide a laptop to another student we want to support.

6. No substitutes
This scholarship benefit includes one laptop per student. We do not provide additional or replacement devices, including in cases of loss, theft, or damage. This policy applies regardless of any re-enrollment in the program or participation in a future cohort.

7. Yours to keep

When you successfully complete your program, the laptop is yours — permanently. It's not just a device, it's a symbol of your hard work and dedication.
